Community Transit (New River Valley Community Services) operates its transportation service without regard to race, color and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint. Complaints must be filed within 180 days following the date of the alleged discriminatory occurrence and should contain as much detailed information about the alleged discrimination as possible.

For more information on Community Transit’s Civil Rights Program, and the procedures to file a complaint, please contact New River Valley Community Services by calling 540-961-8300 or visit the Community Transit office located at 2-B Corporate Drive, Radford, VA 24141. A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by contacting the Office of Civil Rights, Attention:  Title VI Program Coordinator, East Building, 5th Floor – TCR, 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, DC 20590.
