AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide

This year’s Walk will take place on Saturday, October 21st, 2023 at Randolph Park in Dublin, VA. Check-in starts at 9:00am, and the walk begins at 10:00am. If you’d like to be create or join a team, volunteer at the Walk, or become a sponsor, visit https://afsp.org/nrv/.

New River Valley Suicide Prevention Collaborative

NRVSPC is a group of professionals, community members, and partners with the goal of reducing the number of suicides in our area. We work collaboratively to educate others in the areas of suicide prevention, behavioral health and wellness. We strive to increase help-seeking behaviors and raise awareness about available mental health supports and resources. Our members represent schools, youth serving organizations, civic/volunteer groups, business, law enforcement, high education, local government, veterans, treatment, etc. We meet monthly via Zoom.
