sfp-leslie-webNRVCS will offer two new cycles of the popular Strengthening Families Program (SFP) beginning in February. This FREE weekly program is open to families with children ages 6 – 11.

SFP will be made available to families in Montgomery County beginning Monday, February 1 and continuing each Monday through April 18 (12 weeks). Classes will be conducted from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Christiansburg Baptist Church (2895 Roanoke Road).

Floyd County families can attend the program on Wednesday evenings, beginning February 3 and continuing each Wednesday through April 20 (12 weeks). Classes will be conducted from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Floyd United Methodist Church (417 E. Main Street, Floyd).

Participating families are treated to a free meal each week and child care is provided for children under the age of 6 and over the age of 12. Plus, there are weekly/prizes and incentives for attendance and participation!

While there is no cost associated with SFP, pre-registration is required. To learn more or sign up, please contact Leslie Beasley at lbeasley@nrvcs.org or 540-961-8356.
