  7. New cycles of Strengthening Families Program planned for this fall

NRVCS will offer two new cycles of the popular Strengthening Families Program this fall. The program, which is designed to enhance parenting skills and family communication, is available to families with children ages 6 – 12 and is provided at no cost, along with free dinner and child care.

Families in Pulaski County and Radford are invited to participate in the sessions that will be conducted at Pulaski Elementary School, beginning Monday, September 11 from 6 – 8 p.m. and continuing through December 4.

The program will be available to Giles County families beginning Wednesday, September 13 and continuing weekly through November 29. Classes will be held at Eastern Elementary/Middle School (6899 Virginia Avenue, Pembroke) from 6 – 8 p.m.

While there is no cost for the Strengthening Families Program, pre-registration is required. Contact Leslie Beasley at 540-250-1814 or lbeasley@nrvcs.org to sign up or to learn more.
