Transportation Services maintains a fleet of more than 180 vehicles. Our fleet is composed of everything from passenger cars to large public transit buses. We maintain and procure vehicles to meet the needs of case managers, NRVCS clients, and the general public.

NRVCS Transportation Services headquarters, located in Radford, is the center of operations for Community Transit and the Radford Transit system.

Community Transit

A Community Transit vehicleCommunity Transit serves special needs individuals in our community. We provide transportation to and from day support and treatment programs for clients of NRVCS. We also provide transportation to hospital and doctors visits for individuals with Medicaid transportation funds.

Community Transit operates in Radford, Christiansburg, Pulaski, Floyd, Montgomery, and Giles.

 

 

Radford Transit

A Radford Transit bus.Radford Transit provides safe, reliable, and convenient public transit to the citizens of Radford, Radford University students, faculty, and staff and those who live in the surrounding areas. Professionally operated by NRVCS Transit Services, Radford Transit was established on August 8, 2011 through a joint partnership between Radford University, Radford City, the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation, and the Federal Transit Administration.
