NRVCS will offer two new cycles of the popular Strengthening Families Program this fall. The program, which is designed to enhance parenting skills and family communication, is available to families with children ages 6 – 11 and is provided at no cost, along with free dinner and child care.

The program will be available to Giles County families beginning Monday, September 14 and continuing weekly through November 30. Classes will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg (401 Hale Street) from 6 – 8 p.m.

Families in Pulaski County and Radford are invited to participate in the sessions that will be conducted at Pulaski Elementary School, beginning Wednesday, September 16 and continuing through December 2. These classes will also be conducted from 6 – 8 p.m.

While there is no cost for the Strengthening Families Program, pre-registration is required. Contact Leslie Beasley at 540-961-8356 or lbeasley@nrvcs.org to sign up or to learn more.
