Summer
training wraps up!
Volunteers complete the final evaluation of training after a
grueling three-week run. Welcome to our new volunteers and
we hope to see more of you turn out for training in the
fall!

Volunteers and staff got involved in an intense game of
kickball during the annual volunteer appreciation picnic on

"CoolKidz"
take first place!
The "CoolKidz"
team, consisting of Raft volunteers and staff, captured
first place in their division at the NRVCS volleyball
tournament on April 21. Congratulations to all of our team
members for their winning performance! |

"Run for Raft"
Participants in the first-ever "Run for Raft" make their way
along the course. Thanks again to everyone who participated

out!
Spring 2007
Raft trainees graduated with flying colors recently. Special
thanks to these dedicated individuals for taking the time

Raft Cookout
Raft volunteers were treated to a cookout on Saturday, April
22 at Hand-In-Hand Park in Blacksburg. The event was held in
conjunction with National Volunteer Appreciation Week.
