TYPE OF WORK:
Permanent
Part-Time position transporting and
assisting clients to and from various
destinations throughout the New River Valley
and surrounding areas. Duties also include
performing vehicle inspections, record
keeping, occasional office assistance and
providing safe and courteous service. Hours
vary Monday through Saturday. Occasional
Evening hours also expected.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or
equivalent with considerable experience in
operating vans and bus type vehicles. Must
possess a valid Virginia Driver’s License
and acceptable driving record. Experience
handling wheelchairs and assisting the
physically challenged is a plus.
Ability to maintain effective working
relationships with others required.
Must hold or be able to
obtain a “Class C” Commercial Drivers
License with Passenger Endorsement within
the first 60 days of employment.

testing provided)
STARTING SALARY: $8.38 per hour
