TYPE OF WORK:
Support and
maintain in-house technology equipment. This
includes installing, configuring,
diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading all PC
hardware and equipment while ensuring its
optimal performance. Collaborate with the
Network Administrator to ensure efficient
operation of the agency’s network
environments. Will also troubleshoot problem
areas (in person, by telephone, or via
e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion,
and provide end-user assistance where
required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A two-year
degree in Computer Science or Information
Technology with at least 4 years of relevant
experience, or the equivalent combination of
experience and/or training. Experience with
Network Systems Management and network
operating systems required. Experience with
personal computers; ability to troubleshoot,
replace hardware and correct software
problems required. Microsoft Network
training and/or Microsoft Network
Professional certification(s) preferred.
CCNA training and/or active certification
preferred. Strong customer service skills
also required.
STARTING SALARY: $27,499
