TYPE OF WORK:
Position
is
responsible for the design and development
of agency-wide software applications in
various standard and proprietary programming
languages for use within behavioral health
programs and administrative units. This
position serves an important role in
implementation of electronic health record (EHR)
features and modules, and creation of
web-based tools that supplement the EHR and
organization processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED- A
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
Management Information Science with at least
2 years of relevant experience, or the
equivalent combination of experience and/or
training. Experience with a least one
scripting language is mandatory.
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of enterprise
and desktop applications. Working technical
knowledge of a variety of programming
languages and database concepts, including
but not limited to: HTML, JavaScript,
ASP.NET, Visual Basic, and MSSQL. The
ability to work independently, as well as
part of a team. The ability to communicate
technical ideas and concepts effectively,
both orally and in writing. Must be highly
motivated and self-directed; able to handle
multiple tasks simultaneously.
STARTING SALARY:
Commensurate with experience. Limited
appointment; funding secured through June
2013.
