TYPE OF WORK:
This position
works as a Clinician on the agency’s
Intensive Community Treatment Team serving
individuals recovering from serious mental
illnesses. Responsibilities include
provision of the following services:
Individual and group counseling, Intensive
Community Treatment, Case Management,
Psycho-social Rehabilitation, Mental Health
Supports, Crisis Intervention, and Crisis
Stabilization. Works as part of the team to
assure services and resources are
coordinated among providers as needed to
help individuals served live and function
optimally in the community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited university
with at least a Master’s degree in
psychology, counseling, social work, or a
related human services field is required.
Experience providing direct clinical
services in a community based mental health
setting is helpful. Licensure or Licensure
eligibility as a Professional Counselor,
Clinical Social Worker or Clinical
Psychologist in Virginia is
required. Certification in CPR and First
Aid,
possession of a valid
driver's license, and an acceptable driving
record are required.
STARTING SALARY: Licensure Eligible:
$36,150 Licensed: $39,608
