ICT Program LPN |
TYPE OF WORK:
Provides nursing and
case management services, including assessment,
treatment, rehabilitation and support in an assertive
community treatment program for clients with severe and
persistent mental illness. Works closely with other
members of team to build and maintain long lasting
supportive relationships with clients. Assesses
physical health needs and manages client medication.
Occasional weekend, evening work, and on-call work
required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified
applicant must be a Licensed Practical Nurse. Education
and/or experience in a related field equal to four
years. Bachelor’s degree and experience working with
serious mental illnesses preferred. Knowledge of
rehabilitative and psychosocial services, medication,
psychiatric treatment and crisis intervention helpful.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable
driving record.
STARTING SALARY:
$28,874 (higher salary
based on experience)
