PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST - CRISIS STABILIZATION UNIT (FULL-TIME)

TYPE OF WORK: Seeking individual to provide treatment and support services in residential crisis stabilization program. Responsibilities will include providing emotional support, education and crisis intervention with individuals and groups within the facility. Assists clients with adult daily living tasks and transportation; also assists with facility supervision and daily maintenance. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must be diagnosed with serious mental illness and be willing to share experiences with clients. Requires bachelor’s degree in human services field with one year experience working with individuals with mental illness or bachelor’s degree in unrelated field and four years’ experience. Must possess valid Virginia driver’s license and acceptable driving record.    

STARTING SALARY:
$24,942
