TYPE OF WORK:
Assesses health needs, provides general
supervision, and assists with medications in
6-bed short-term psychiatric crisis program.
Three 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday, and
Sunday with occasional daytime hours during
the week. Works closely with other members
of team including on-call psychiatrist.
Shares responsibility for evening activities
and stabilizing crisis symptoms.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a Licensed
Practical Nurse. Bachelor’s Degree and
experience working with serious mental
illnesses preferred. Knowledge of
psychiatric medications, psychiatric
treatment and crisis intervention techniques
helpful. Must have a valid driver’s license
and acceptable driving record.
STARTING SALARY: $26,976
