TYPE OF WORK:
This position
works at two facilities – one is a crisis
stabilization facility which treats the
acutely mentally ill and the other is a
substance abuse residential
program. Responsible for monitoring and
assisting clients, providing safety checks
and initial intervention in the event of a
crisis. Required to document symptoms and
behaviors in client record. Takes vital
signs and administers medications after
passing agency provided Medication
Administration Training. Additional
responsibilities include transporting of
clients as needed and daily facility
maintenance tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of high school education or GED.
Experience working with individuals with
mental illness or substance abuse preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and
acceptable driving record.
STARTING SALARY: $20,790
– Direct Care
$21,829 – Service Provider
$23,303 - EMT
