About Clubhouse

Opportunities Available at Clubhouse
Clubhouse members and staff meet daily at 9:00 a.m. for “Community” which is a formal meeting where topics such as the daily agenda, unit duties, issues that members and/or staff may have, and reminders for upcoming events are discussed.

Day to day programs at Clubhouse include educational groups that teach members about mental illness including techniques that aid in management of symptoms, medication education, as well as a  variety of other Psychosocial education topics. Clubhouse programs also offer opportunities to develop independent living skills like cooking, cleaning, money management, personal hygiene and accessing resources.

Accessing the community is a very important part of the rehabilitation process, and Clubhouse offers a wide variety of community based programs each month. Furthermore, Clubhouse offers opportunities for members to develop and practice healthy interpersonal and social skills. These opportunities include holiday dinners, dances, parties, cookouts with other area Clubhouses, educational programs related to peer and/or community interaction, and accessing community resources with fellow members like local stores, libraries, and museums.
